Aaron Boeke
Aaron serves as Vice President of Gas Operations for Virginia, where he is responsible for overseeing the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of natural gas service across the Commonwealth. He leads the operation and maintenance of the gas distribution system and is accountable for operational performance, system reliability, and execution of infrastructure investment programs. Aaron also ensures alignment with regulatory requirements while advancing operational excellence and long-term strategy.
He has an extensive background in the energy industry including experience in nuclear energy, business integration and supply chain management, safety management system governance and more.
PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
Aaron began his career with NiSource in 2015. After serving in various roles at the company, Boeke was most recently NiSource’s Senior Director of Asset Knowledge Management where he was the driving force behind the maturity of NiSource’s asset data, records and supporting systems to ensure the availability and accessibility of critically important safety and compliance-related information.
EDUCATION
Aaron earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction Management from Purdue University..
