We’re one of the six energy delivery companies of NiSource Inc., who together provide essential natural gas and electric service to nearly 4 million customers.

The honor was awarded to Columbia Gas based on feedback provided by our employees through a third-party survey, which measures the employee experience and its component themes including topics such as employees feeling respected and supported, being enabled to grow and being empowered to execute.

Giving back
We’ve been part of the communities we serve since 1847. We volunteer and provide charitable support across Virginia, primarily to organizations that share our mission of meeting basic human needs. In addition, our WarmWise program helps customers save energy and money, while our HeatShare energy assistance program helps qualifying customers make ends meet.
