Chester, VA – Drivers in Warrenton are asked to exercise caution when traveling through work zones as Columbia Gas of Virginia upgrades natural gas infrastructure in the area.
This will involve Columbia Gas replacing underground pipe in Warrenton within the right-of-way along Culpeper Street between East Shirley Avenue, also known as Route 17, and Franklin Street.
The project, which begins in early April and is estimated to wrap up in late June, will ensure the continued delivery of safe, reliable and efficient natural gas in the area for years to come.
Work will take place between the hours of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Weekend work is also possible, and drivers can expect potential lane and street closures with detours during working hours.
