Chester, VA – Today, Columbia Gas of Virginia is announcing that it has been ranked first in customer satisfaction in the South Midsize segment in the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Gas Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study. The favorable factors cited in the study include Columbia Gas’s safety and reliability, billing and payment, corporate citizenship, price, communications, and customer care.

The J.D. Power U.S. Gas Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study measures residential customers’ satisfaction with 86 large and midsize gas utilities in four U.S. geographic regions: East, Midwest, South and West. The results are based on responses from tens of thousands of online customer surveys.
