Continuing to Invest in Fredericksburg

Columbia Gas of Virginia is investing $2.3 million to upgrade our natural gas infrastructure in downtown Fredericksburg. This pipeline investment will require the transfer of existing customer service lines to the new natural gas facilities and will take approximately 6 months to complete. This project will provide safe, reliable natural gas service to residents and businesses for years to come.

  • Willam at Douglas St. 

Project Updates


Update 3/14/14
Technicians will be working on transferring service lines to the new main along Caroline Street.

Site work will begin on the regulator station at the corner of Hanover and George the week of March 17.. 

We apologize for any inconvenience during this extensive replacement project. Your patience has been appreciated as we improve the underground natural gas infrastructure so that we can provide safe, reliable natural gas energy to Fredericksburg.
