Karl Brack joins Columbia Gas of Virginia as Director of Communications/Community Relations

Chester, VA – April 24, 2017 – Karl Brack has joined Columbia Gas of Virginia (CVA) as the company’s new Director of Communications and Community Relations. He succeeds Bob Innes who retired March 31.

Brack joins a team focused on advancing CVA’s long-standing commitments to public safety, customer service and corporate citizenship.  In his new role, he will work closely with CVA leaders, employees, customers and community groups to help enhance communication and strengthen relationships across the company’s service territories.

 Brack joined the Columbia family of companies in 1987, and has served in a variety of communications and corporate affairs roles at several CVA affiliates as well as at its parent company, NiSource Inc.  Most recently, he served as a consultant to NiSource in support of communications and change management initiatives.  Prior to that role, he led human resources and internal communications functions for Columbia Pipeline Group LLC.  He has a journalism degree from Marshall University, and a master’s degree in Industrial relations from the West Virginia Graduate College.
