Four Easy Steps to Saving Energy and Money from Columbia Gas of Virginia
Interested in saving money while conserving water use? What about reducing your natural gas use? Want to lower your cooling bills without sacrificing comfort? Columbia Gas of Virginia can help you in all three areas through its WarmWise program.
WarmWise is an energy efficiency and conservation program that provides customized information on how to save money while preserving our natural resources. WarmWise can provide you with many ways to improve the energy use around your home without sacrificing comfort, and as a qualified Columbia customer you can receive free energy savings measures to help you begin conserving saving our natural resources.
Four Easy Steps
Step 1 – Go to ColumbiaGasVa.com and click on energy conservation.
Step 2 – Take the Home Savings Evaluation and receive detailed customized information about the energy consumed in your home.
Step 3 – Install the free energy savings measures received by completing the Home Savings Evaluation. Qualified Columbia customers will receive water conserving faucet aerators for the kitchen and bathroom, a low-flow shower head and water pipe insulation.
Step 4 – Take advantage of the cash rebates available for home improvements. WarmWise rebates are available for hot water heaters, furnaces, windows, insulation and ductwork.
“The WarmWise programs helps Columbia customers learn more about how reduce water consumption during this very dry weather period and reduce their natural gas use,” said Chris Griffin, WarmWise program manager for Columbia. “Cash rebates available through WarmWise can assist Columbia customers in reducing their overall energy use by lowering the cost to install insulation, ductwork, and ENERGY STAR rated windows, natural gas water heaters and natural gas furnaces.”
