The Energy to Make a Difference
We believe the vitality of our business depends on the health of the communities where we live and work. Last year we donated over $300,000 to a variety of non-profits organizations in Virginia. In collaboration with our employees and community partners, we look for opportunities to provide funding and volunteer support of non-profit organizations in the areas of:
- Human needs
- Public safety
- Community development
- Environmental and energy sustainability
- Leadership and science education
Eligible organizations must be a 501(c)(3) or other non-profit as determined by the Internal Revenue Service with a focus in one or more of the defined areas and have a direct impact in the communities we serve.
