Columbia Gas of Virginia received approval from the Virginia State Corporation Commission to expand the CHOICE program statewide. As of October 1, 2002, the right to choose was extended to all of our customers. So whether you are already enrolled in our pilot program, or if you are considering enrolling in the program, do your homework so that you make a decision that is best for you.

Instead of buying energy from your local utility, you can make choices about who supplies your natural gas in a competitive market.

You can choose to continue to purchase your natural gas from Columbia Gas of Virginia, just as you have in the past. Or, you can choose to purchase your gas from a number of authorized Customer CHOICE suppliers.
