As a natural gas distribution company, we serve residential, commercial and industrial customers across 65 percent of the land mass of Virginia. Our pipelines are connected directly to thousands of schools, homes, churches, factories and other businesses. In the home, natural gas is used for heating, cooling, cooking, laundry, fireplaces and outdoor lighting. It is widely used in the commercial market, especially for cooking. And our industrial customers use the fuel we provide to make many of the products you use everyday, such as foods, fertilizers and paper products.
